Applications Now Open: Join our Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP)

Applications are now open to join the Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP) for our LifeArc centre for Acceleration of rare disease trials. Help shape the future of rare disease research, clinical trials, and patient engagement by sharing your insights and expertise.

We are excited to announce that applications are now open to join the Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP) for the Rare Disease Translational Acceleration Platform (RD-TAP) project! This is a unique opportunity to help guide and shape the future of rare disease research, clinical trials, and patient engagement.

The LEAP will be an essential voice in co-creating processes to make research participation easier and fairer, developing better pathways to bring effective therapies to those in need, and advocating for equitable opportunities for patients across the UK.

We welcome applications from:

  • People living with a rare condition
  • Parents or carers of individuals with rare conditions
  • Representatives of rare disease advocacy organisations

If you are passionate about influencing the future of rare disease research and ensuring that patient perspectives are at the heart of decision-making, we would love to hear from you!
